| This sign meet Texas Penal Code 30.07 requirements to prohibit openly carried fire arms in your building. The sign is on .040" aluminum and measures 30" wide x 22" height.
Effective January 1, 2016 properly licensed persons may openly carry fire arms in Texas. Penal Code 30.07 restricts open carry when a sign is clearly posted at each public entrance to the premise.
To meet the requirements of Penal Code 30.07 the sign must:
- The specifically 30.07 designated text must be written in English and Spanish.
- Lettering must be a minimum of 1” in height on contrasting background.
- Be conspicuously displayed at each public entrance.
- 30.07 applies only to Open Carry. Restriction of concealed fire arms requires a separate sign as per Penal Code 30.06. (30.06 signs are available as a separate item.)
